Last Thursday, the Church of St. Benedict, Broken Arrow hosted the 13th bi-annual Woman of Achievement luncheon and awards presented by the Tulsa Diocesan Council of Catholic Women.
Sixteen women from parishes around the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma were honored.
The event kicked off with breakfast and a guest speaker in McGuire Hall, followed by Mass with concelebrants St. Benedict Pastor Fr. Bryan Brooks and Msgr. Gregory Gier, as well as visiting priests. Mass was followed by a catered lunch, the awards ceremony, and a silent auction. This year’s award recipients included:

The Diocesan Council of Catholic Women's annual Women of Achievement awards are given annually to women in the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma. The Diocese of Tulsa also recognizes and celebrates the contributions of women in the Church, with a particular focus on their roles as mothers, wives, and saints.
