Diocesan Policies

In adherence to the USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children & Young People, His Excellency Bishop Konderla promulgated the Policies & Procedures for the Protection of Children & Young People (“Policies”) for the Diocese of Tulsa. The 2023 updated Policies represents a comprehensive collection of policies and procedures that supersedes all previous versions. Among other things, it includes updates from Vos Estis Lux Mundi and Sacramentorum sanctitatis tutela, and Code of Canon Law Book VI.

Bishop Konderla has reminded us, protecting the most vulnerable in our communities is in fact a community effort. Everyone is a “valued ally.” In this spirit, the Office of Child & Youth Protection wants to thank all of you for all the work you do to protect our children, youth, and vulnerable adults.
