Letters of Suitability

In light of the provisions of canon 903 CIC and canon 703 §1 CCEO, Letters of Suitability are required by all clergy when performing ministerial duties outside the Diocese of Tulsa. Those in the Office of the Chancellor are happy to assist our clergy with their Letters of Suitability.
Letters of Suitability cannot be guaranteed unless they are submitted at least four weeks prior to the event and/or travel date. Please use the following forms to request a letter of good standing to travel outside the Diocese of Tulsa.
In exceptional circumstances, such as funerals, requests for Letters of Suitability may be expedited to ensure a swift processing and timely response. Please fill out the form and notify the Chancellor's Office at 918.307.4928 or by email.Please remember, that unless explicitly stated, a Letter of Suitability cannot be used repeatedly.
